New Yellow Bus Route For Enfield Transit’s Magic Carpet Bus Service & Updates To Blue Route - Effective March 31, 2014
Enfield Transit’s Magic Carpet Bus Service is pleased to announce that the Yellow Route has expanded and will travel from Scitico Plaza on the eastern side of Enfield to Pearl St on the west via Hazard Avenue. This hourly route will stop at all grocery stores, Phoenix Ave / South Road, near Enfield High School/Enfield Terrace, run the full length of Pearl Street as well as stop at both public libraries. In addition, the Blue Route will now stop at Kohl’s Plaza, Fermi High School and all grocery stores. Free transfers are offered between the routes; the main transfer stops will be at Lamagna Center and 151 Hazard Avenue. The Yellow Route will run hourly, Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 6:30am. The Blue Route will run hourly, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 11:00 pm and Saturday, 7:00 am – 9:00 pm.

The rides program is growing rapidly and to continue providing much needed transportation in your communities we need to recruit many additional drivers, please help RSVP by spreading the word in your social groups and communities. RSVP Medical Transportation provides free out of town medical rides for seniors 60 years or older whom reside in the towns of Berlin, Kensington, Meriden, New Britain, Southington and Wallingford. Doctors appointments. We provide a mileage stipend along with supplemental insurance.
